How to earn |
|

Global Services, 1K, Premier Executive and Premier members will have an upgrade automatically requested on their behalf on all eligible itineraries—simply for being an elite member. There is no need to earn or track upgrade certificates |
|
|
|
1K members earn two Regional Upgrades per quarter per 10,000 qualifying flown miles, up to a maximum of eight per year. |
|
|
|
1K members receive six Systemwide Upgrades per elite qualifying year as part of the 1K benefits package. |
|
|
|

500-Mile Upgrades
500-Mile Upgrades will no longer be issued or available for purchase. Elite members will no longer have access to existing 500-Mile Upgrades, which will be replaced with Unlimited Domestic Upgrades.
General members and Premier Associate members may continue to use their existing 500-Mile Upgrades for a one-cabin upgrade on select booking classes within the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America (excluding three-cabin transcontinental p.s.® routes), until their regular expiration dates (12 months from the date of issue).
